REQUIREMENTS:

• ​MIG welders are preferable

This position is a 2nd shift welding  (temp to hire) position. 2nd shift starts either at 2:30pm or 3:30pm.

The pay rate, depending on position, starts at $24/hour (DOE) with a 2nd shift premium of $2.50/hour. 

1st shift in east plant – 8 hrs 

2nd shift in west plant molding – 10 hrs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide leadership and coaching for the quality and overall product realization process
• Provide leadership on quality matters in the plant and examine work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to prescribed standards
• Audit and inspect product and processes to ensure quality
• Ensure suspect product is segregated, identified, and dispositioned per process 
• Employ problem solving techniques to support the 8D process
• Conduct and assist others in investigations to determine causes of quality defects 
• Suggest and implement cost-saving ideas aligning with the eight types of waste
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist co-workers in solving work problems
• Cultivate a team environment focused on continuous improvement efforts
• Interact with the associates while conducting visual, dimensional, and process audits
• Provide recommendations to Quality Assurance to clearly communicate quality criteria 
• Review story bins for consistency of information
• Responsible for training other team members in required duties

JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide leadership and coaching; which includes participating in the accountability process for the quality and overall product realization process

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education/Training - High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum Experience: 2 to 4 Years in a Manufacturing Environment preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare raw materials for production by picking, measuring, mixing, staging and delivery
• Load and unload raw materials by operating a forklift to the required job location
• Review the production schedule to effectively perform material/color changes for upcoming production
• Correctly mix materials to ensure the proper level of color concentrates, additives, and/or regrind is being used
• Perform material and color changeovers
• Operate material blenders and grinders

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals to determine material calculations
• Ability to speak, read, and write the English language
• Seasoned forklift experience

• Receive incoming material, verify counts, and perform accurate data entry

The right candidate will have a construction background and/or renovating/cleaning experience. The job entails standing, bending, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
