The WorkSmart Career Planner is responsible for WorkSmart Network contract performance goals as relates to the Workforce Development Board of South-Central Wisconsin (WDBSCW) directives and Department of Workforce Development (DWD) and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) compliance.The Career Planner provides individual career assessments, assistance with the development of employment plans, development of Work Experiences and On-the-Job trainings and internship opportunities for program customers. Responsible for providing support to customers in determining their short and long-term career goals and assisting in establishing a plan that equally reflects the customer’s personal and professional goals. The Career Planner works as part of a network team, as well as part of a regional sub-team to ensure consistent messaging and service delivery across the region. Performs all duties in conformance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines governing equal employment opportunity and nondiscrimination in the workplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieve established contract goals as directed by WDBSCW, WIOA and DWD. 

• Develop formal weekly meeting agendas and minutes as required. 

• Promote and explain Workforce Development services to employers and job seekers by participating in a variety of outreach activities, such as job fairs and open houses, to increase customer awareness and utilization of the local Workforce Development System.

• Assist with area Rapid Response Sessions for businesses experiencing mass layoffs and/or closures.

• Perform customer intake activities, such as determining program eligibility, assisting in completing program paperwork and providing information to facilitate participant access to employment and training services. 

• Evaluate clients' background, education, and training to help them develop realistic goals.

• Guide individuals on examination and exploration of occupational choices in their career development.

• Work with other Workforce Development partners on training and employment plans for individuals. 

• Provide one-on-one career counseling to individuals regarding career planning, training options, job search strategies, resume building and interviewing skills.

• Conduct and maintain contact with community organizations and businesses for the purpose of outreach, recruitment, and positive public relations.

Summary/Objective

Ensure that the quality of work produced meets or exceeds standards as defined in documented policies and procedures. Responsible for upholding all quality standards by performing routine quality inspections and communicating product deficiencies.

Essential Functions

1. Ensure product integrity be performing routine product inspections.

2. Record all quality inspections and nonconformities on the designated forms.

3. Determine when a product does not meet quality standards, using available reference tools and documented standards. For non-typical quality issues, consult with Quality Assurance Manager or Quality Assurance Lead. Fill out appropriate paperwork and record results of non-conforming findings.

4. Communicate substandard product issues to the Quality Assurance Manager or Quality Assurance Lead and to the production supervisor(s).

5. Maintain accurate and legible records when recording information.

6. Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of product specifications, manufacturing software and general machine operation.

Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining safe and secure buildings, equipment and grounds to ensure successful service delivery.  Responsible for providing on-going maintenance, repairs and consult to ensure safe facilities and operative equipment.  The Maintenance Technician will work as part of the maintenance and facilities team providing exceptional customer service to agency staff and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

SAFETY

Complete scheduled maintenance, repair for the following, document, and maintain Facility Dude: Fire equipment, i.e. alarms, extinguishers, etc., maintain sprinkler systems in all facilities, Emergency lights, AED Units, Eye Wash Systems

Assist in ensuring the MSDS manual is always current.

Complete timely snow/ice removal services at facilities.

MECHANICAL

Maintain in all facilities, perform PM and RM, document in CMMS:

HVAC units

Plumbing systems

Electrical systems

Collaborate with outside vendors when directed; report results to coordinator.

SECURITY

Assist in the proper maintenance and operation of the agency surveillance system.

Complete routine equipment checks, document and report results to coordinator.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE SUPPORT/BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS

Actively use and maintain our Facility Dude Software.

Complete facility improvement projects as assigned.  Report on progress and completions to coordinator.

Technician 2 requires 5 – 7 years of direct work experience with production and manufacturing equipment.

The Job Developer/Employment Specialist is the associate business developer for the community employment team. 

Responsible for providing various job preparation activities, along with focused job development and placement services for youth and adults with diverse abilities. 

Service options include: building relationships with area employers to seek out and develop job openings, preparing individuals for the job search and providing adequate follow-up services for participants once placed in the community and collaborating with training team to ensure proper support is provided for successful career advancement of those served. The ability to multi-task is required to successfully achieve all service expectations.

The role will develop, implement and sustain staff ad all systems necessary to assure the delivery of products and services that will satisfy customer requirements while maintaining all quality and regulatory requirements and guidelines. Manages and coordinates QMS and Food Safety compliance. The Quality Assurance Manager acts as a technical resource to internal and external parties relating to all aspects of the QMS, and government funded programs including SourceAmerica. Keep abreast of all regulatory issues dealing with food safety and ensure requirements of HACCP and other relevant standards are effectively communicated to the management team as well as implemented and maintained. Prepares and leads all audit functions and makes recommendations for corrective and preventive actions necessary to ensure conformity. Maintain an effective quality/regulatory document control system. Influence quality and productivity improvements through development of new and advanced procedures and process innovation. Supervise the staff within the quality department in all production locations.

The Quality Assurance Manager will be highly organized, self-motivated and effective in communication. In addition, this position with create and monitor baseline standards, ensure consistent processes and uniform documentation to enhance quality processes throughout the organization using FSMA, USDA, FDA and ISO guidelines. The Quality Assurance Manager also serves as a liaison between the agency’s Customer Service Representatives and the production floor staff to ensure that the quality of work produced exceeds the customer's expectations.

The Fulfillment Customer Service Representative is accountable for facilitating customer relations with fulfillment and Ecommerce business customers. This role involves customer account management to include: order monitoring, inventory validation, meeting key performance standards, and a high level of service and daily communication. Ability to manage and navigate all systems and information technology as it relates to fulfillment operations and customer specific accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Serve as the liaison between the agency's fulfillment customers and fulfillment/ production work floor.

• Manage project pricing, quality and scheduling incoming and outgoing customer product flow in an organized and comprehensive manner to exceed expectation.

• Utilize agency OI Cares philosophy and “Keys to Service Success” in all business communications. Extend a positive image of Opportunities, Inc. and its fulfillment capabilities within the business community and beyond.

• Research, analyze, investigate, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries.

• Resolve Business Central routine issues that may include; scanning order issues, Locus Robotics system challenges, postal file error importing and manifest generation. 

• Respond to inquiries timely and ensure responses are complete and focus on achieving high levels of first-contact resolution.

• Complete online tasks on behalf of the customers such as: Shipstation reporting, lowest shipping options, Ecommerce platforms, Google spreadsheets, Endicia and logistic website to process customer orders. 

• Produce and send to customers on time shipping and receipt documents.

• Effectively work independently and manage position responsibilities and special assignments completely.

• Work together with the inventory department on conducting physical counts and communicate customer inventory accuracy.

• Verify clerical/computer computations against physical stock counts, adjust errors, investigate, and report reasons for discrepancies.

• Support ecommerce and maintain effective communication between the customer and production personnel through effective written and verbal communication.• Process product orders and provide prompt and efficient response and resolution to customer requests.

• Analyze, interpret and act on customer inquiries regarding fulfillment services such as:
  o Orders, order status, pricing, item descriptions, inventory and shipping/receiving.o Gather supporting documentation to research and development of new product lines.(i.e photos, Amazon optimization, different packaging solutions).

• Ability to coordinate information relative to several different customers simultaneously to satisfy individual customer production needs selling channels.

• Coordinate and follow through with order processor and warehouse personnel to ensure on time order and shipment dates are met.

• Communicate between shipping and the customer concerning shipping rates, fulfillment of backorders, and regarding orders with special restrictions and handling requirements.

• Maintain a positive attitude and actively contribute to the growth and success of fulfillment operations. • Serve as a back-up to all areas of the fulfillment operations as needed.• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products to meet company standards of safety, productivity, and quality. This includes the operation of basic forklifts in the handling of products. Must be available to work scheduled hours to meet customer needs.

Essential Functions

1. Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner, recording all necessary paperwork.

2. Transport product to storage areas using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store product.

3. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

4. Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.

5. Check product for accuracy in inventory, damage and infestation and complete paperwork.

6. Pick product for transfer in a timely and accurate manner. 

7. Conduct operations and model behavior that promotes a safe environment. This would include completing daily safety inspections before operating, looking in the direction of travel, wearing a seat belt, driving at an appropriate speed, and appropriate use of the horn as examples.

8. Sweep and clean area, including trailers, as needed.

9. Abide by all company rules and policies in regards to conduct and safety.

10. Must have the ability to turn head to look in the direction of travel. Must have the ability to look up. Must have the ability to wear the seat belt during operation per OSHA regulation.

11. Demonstrate a 3 point stance mount and dismount at all times when getting on and off the forklift.

12. Utilize Hand held scanners and the Warehouse Management System.

13. Perform Cycle Counts as requested within the timeframe requested.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible to assist all areas of production assembly by moving product in boxes, on skids and pallets using motorized or manually operated pallet jack, lifting, placing and removing product, communicating with Line Lead and Warehouse team members and filling in in general assembly as needed. Safety is key!

Previous experience in a manufacturing setting and performing various material handling dutes is strongly desired, but willing to train the right person with great work history and a positive attitude.

This is a physical role, requiring full range of motion including walking, standing, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, grasping, pulling and pushing. You will be trained and certified to operate both manual and motorized lifts safely and accurately.

Summary/Objective

Enhance the work experience, productivity and services provided to participants and transitional support workers in various vocational training programs. 

Assist the Production Supervisor in the day-to-day set up and running of assembly lines, productivity standards, deadlines and paperwork are completed efficiently. Provide a safe work environment for all employees.

Essential Functions

1. Assist with job set-up, including minor equipment adjustment and product change-over as directed by the Production Supervisor.

2. Communicate any quality, machine or employee issues including safety and GMP violations to direct production supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.

3. Maintain efficient operations by assisting line workers, monitoring material levels and machine operation. Utilize employees effectively and efficiently by assisting with proper training, communicating job specific instructions and motivating the team to achieve required productivity.

4. Accurately follow and implement all functions related to handheld computer system, including item tracking and traceability. Initiate finished goods pallet label printing and ensure they are associated to the correct product.

5. Be a role model by establishing good work habits and ensuring the quality and timely completion of the work.

6. Maintain safety of all employees on the production line.

7. Participate and lead stretch exercises.

8. Enforce all floor rules, regulations, and GMPs.

9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
